How to Embed a 3D Ring Builder on Any Website (Not Just Shopify), 2026

Most jewelry ring builders are Shopify apps. They install from the Shopify App Store and run inside Shopify, and nowhere else. If your store is on WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow, or a custom-built site, that whole shelf of tools is off the table. Here is how to add a ring builder to any site, and what to check before you pick one.

The Shopify-only problem

The popular jewelry ring builders, Ring Facet, Keyideas, Brilliance Builder, VDB Ring Creator, GemFind, and Custom Ring Builder, are Shopify App Store apps. They are good tools, but they only run on Shopify. If you are not on Shopify, they cannot help you, and moving your whole store to Shopify just to add a ring builder is a big ask.

What embeddable actually means

Two models. An app is installed into one platform and locked to it. An embed is a snippet of HTML you paste into any site, so it runs wherever your store already lives. If you are off Shopify, you want the second kind.

Your options off Shopify

A note on Shopify's option limit

Even on Shopify, do not try to run a real jewelry customizer on native variants. Shopify raised the variant ceiling from 100 to 2,048 per product in October 2025, so raw count is no longer the wall. The limit that still bites is options: Shopify allows three per product, and a jewelry matrix of stone by metal by setting by size is four before you have added engraving or ring size. The pattern that works is products in Shopify, the customizer as an embed or app, and the configured piece flowing back into the cart. That holds whether you are on Shopify or not: the builder is a separate engine, embedded.

Choose by fit

Prices for everything named here are in the configurator pricing breakdown. If you are on Shopify, almost anything on the market works, so pick on features and price. If you are on WooCommerce, Wix, Webflow, or a custom site and you want a jewelry-specific builder, Ruby Kinglet is the main option that embeds directly. Zakeke or Kickflip work if a general configurator is enough. A custom build works if you have the budget and want to own it.
