It is also a frozen mesh: you can print or mill it, but you cannot resize a shank, swap a head, or rebuild it by part. FormaNova assembles from components and publishes neither its output format nor a full price list. All three are good starting points and none of them is editable parametric CAD.

Traditional CAD is the other end. MatrixGold at about $5,995, 3Design at about $6,900, RhinoArtisan at about 4,000 euros, and Rhino at about $995 with jewelry plugins all produce editable 3DM. The image generators

Tashvi is a budget concept-image generator: a free tier of 20 designs a month with no card, paid plans from $10, and a prompt, sketch, or guided mode that returns a concept image in about a minute, including on a phone. If quick concept images are all you need, it does that well. It markets an STL export as CAD ready; treat that the way you would treat any image-to-mesh step and test it against your own manufacturing before you rely on it. Diatech Studio is visualization-first and publishes little pricing.

Zuve Studio takes the sketch route: rough drawing in, rendered design out, with tools for suggesting variations and building a collection from one piece. Its own claim is two hours of sketch-to-render work down to twenty seconds. It sits in the client consultation rather than the design workflow: it listens to the call, sketches concepts live while the client is describing what they want, and produces a PDF brief of the captured specifications for whoever does the CAD. Starter is $20 a month for 20 sketches, Pro is $50 for 50 sketches and 30 CAD renders, both with a 15-day trial. What comes out is a sketch and a spec sheet, not a 3D file, and the brief is CAD ready in the sense that a person reads it and models from it.
